Hormone Replacement Therapy for Women in Lansing, Michigan
Women's HRT and Menopause Care for Greater Lansing
Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) at Aqua is guided by experienced providers including Hollie Town, PA-C and Dr. Lena Weinman, helping women better understand and address symptoms related to hormone imbalance.
HRT is a medically guided treatment that involves administering hormones to replace the ones your body no longer produces. By replacing declining hormones with ones your body recognizes, it’s been shown to help address common symptoms associated with hormone deficiency to help support metabolism, bone strength, mood, and sexual health. For women, this often includes —like progesterone, estrogen, and testosterone—Aqua Aesthetics & Wellness specializes in bioidentical hormone therapy, also called natural hormone therapy, because it mirrors your body’s chemistry. These hormones are molecularly identical to your own, offering smoother absorption than older synthetic or combined therapy.

What to Expect at Your Women’s HRT Consultation
Your consultation starts with your symptoms, medical history, current medications, and goals. Tell us about changes in your periods, hot flashes, night sweats, sleep, vaginal comfort, or sexual desire. Your provider can explain whether testing is useful, consider other possible causes, and discuss the benefits, risks, and alternatives to hormone therapy.
Menopausal hormone therapy is commonly used for bothersome hot flashes and night sweats, and treatment options also exist for vaginal dryness. The appropriate approach depends on your symptoms and health history; testosterone is a separate treatment discussion for selected patients. Follow-up should assess both symptom response and safety. Read The Menopause Society’s patient guide to hormone therapy.
